KAT LEHMANN

​Kat Lehmann (she/her) is a former research biochemist who savors the grandiose within tiny haiku-genre poems and loves to explore the storytelling possibilities of haibun.

​

Kat is a winner of the 2024 Rattle Chapbook Prize and The Haiku Foundation's 2020 Touchstone Award for Individual Poem. She served as a panelist for The Haiku Foundation Touchstone Distinguished Books Award (2021-2023). Her haiku is included in A New Resonance: Emerging Voices in English-Language Haiku.

ROBIN SMITH

Robin Smith (they/them) is a disabled artist who spends their days writing and drawing themselves into the bodies of other animals and plants. 


Their work has earned numerous accolades including The Haiku Foundation’s Touchstone Award for Individual Poem (2019).  


Robin is an Associate Editor at Yavanika Press. They also serve as Coordinator for the Touchstone Awards for Individual Poems.

ANETTE CHANEY

​Anette Chaney (she/her) is a retired psychiatric nurse with a B.A. in English. She is in the HSA’s mentorship program and her haiku appeared in the mentorship anthology, The Unexpected Weight. Her haiku/senryu have appeared in Cold Moon Journal, whiptail, Poetry Pea Podcast, and Haiku in Action. She lives in a small rural community outside of Harrison, Arkansas in the Ozark Mountains. Her interests include photography, watercolor, bookbinding, Native American flute, and everything nature.

RICH SCHILLING

Proofreader

Rich Schilling (he/him) is an award-winning poet, husband, dad, musician, and runner living in Webster Groves, MO. He has been published in a number of haiku journals and numerous anthologies including wind flowers: The Red Moon Anthology of English-Language Haiku 2019, Haiku 2021, and Haiku 2022. Proofreading has been his day job for over twenty years.
